the RolePrimient customers trust us to provide high quality
ingredients for their manufacturing processes. Our Plant Quality
team leads on key strategic and process initiatives to strengthen
our standards even further and ensure we maintain key
accreditations.As a Scientistwith our Quality Team you will:Primary
Responsibilities:
- Analyze organic and inorganic compounds to determine chemical
and physical properties and composition, utilizing wet chemical,
chromatography, spectroscopy, and viscosity techniques.
- Compile and analyze test information to determine process or
equipment operating efficiency and to diagnose malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot / validate analytical methods in support of
operations and regulatory needs.
- Participate in maintenance and creation of laboratory training
documentation and records, keep SOPs current, and provide support
for proper training of laboratory personnel.Additional
Responsibilities:
- Interface with technical staff, e.g., Project Leads, ICD, QA
and others on special projects, validations, and method
transfers
- Assists QA and Operations on investigations for complaints and
product deviations.
- Heavy focus on method harmonization across sites
globallyQualifications:
- Minimum BS in chemistry
- Min 3 years' experience in a fast-paced laboratory environment
performing analysis, validations, and method development.
- SOP writing
- Theory, operation and troubleshooting of HPLC, GC (headspace),
IC
- Carbohydrate knowledge a plus
- Familiarity with SAP a plus
- Microsoft products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills necessaryTotal
RewardsThe annual pay range estimated for this position is
$75,129.60 - $93,912.00 and is bonus eligible.Please note that
while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation
available for this role, individual compensation will be determined
based on several factors including your experience, skills, and
alignment with the role's responsibilities. During the interview
process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background
