Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Must have active IL license in hand to apply Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH required Must-Have: - PICC line management & experience - Starting IVs required - Dialysis experience required - Cerner experience preferred Job Description: - Ratios/Daily Caseload: 1:2 ratio for all shifts in a 22-bed unit - First-timers accepted - Will work weekends if needed for department - No on-call requirements - Will float as needed within scope to meet facility needs - Open to accommodating block schedule; schedule requests to be discussed with manager - Locals accepted with no radius restrictions - RTO Restrictions: Ideally, no more than 5 days - Submittals: Low - Travel Compliance: SSN and DOB required at submission. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. 18 months experience required; exceptions may be made based on the unit requirements - ALLIED Clinicians: Those who do not require a state license in hand must arrive 3 business days prior to start for fingerprints - Floating is 100% required of all travelers; candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby - Charting: Cerner. Experience required is position-specific Additional Information: - Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital Level II Trauma center - Total Staffed Beds: 372 - Scrub Color: Any solid color scrubs - Non-billable orientation hours: 16 hours - Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, after which they are billable. Completed virtually on the first day by the end of the day, then annually - Lab appointment, Docusigns, and Badge Photo must be completed within a minimum of 1 week of signing the contract.
