  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a--Travel RN - Medical Surgical 48's Shift: Nights, 6p-6:30a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, EOW, No on-call required, will consider 36s Length: 13 weeks Requirements:
  • IL License
  • Minimum 1 year experience required
  • Med/Surg experience required
  • Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response
  • Skills/Experience: Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. Required Gastrointestinal Case
  • Skills/Experience: Colostomy care, Feeding tube care and management. Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy
  • Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs.--
  • Required Medication Experience: Heparin, Insulin, PCA.
  • Required Neurological/Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury. Experience with Surgical drains required
  • Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, Tracheostomy Management.
  • Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac.
