Shift: Days and Nights
Facility: Decatur Memorial Hospital - Aya-Qualivis
Location: Decatur, IL
Scheduled Hours : 48
*Open to a later start date* Position / Specialty: IMC RN Shift:
Nights (1800-0630) 20 rooms/beds on unit. 1:5 ratios for all
shifts. Years of experience REQ: 1.5 Exp OK! First-timers accepted:
Yes. Weekend REQ: None. Certs REQ: ACLS, BLC, NIH required. Is
on-call REQ? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility
needs? Will float as needed. Open to accommodating block schedule?
Discuss schedule requests with manager. Locals accepted: Yes- no
radius. Must have active IL license in hand to apply. RTO
Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days. Guaranteed Hours: Client
may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without
paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than
permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or
portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates
are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as
a called-off shift. Special Requirements: Required Cardiac
Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation
of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Obtain 12 lead EKG.
Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention skills/experience required.
Chronic/Acute Renal failure experience required. Required IV
therapy skills/experience: Accessing ports, Arterial line
management, Blood Product Administration, Central line
care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Required
Medication Experience: Continuous IV sedation, Emergency
medications, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips.
CVA/Acute Stroke management experience required. Required
Respiratory/Thoracic Skills/Experience: Assist with management of
BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient,
High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning
(ETT, NT), Ventilator Management. Required Professional Topics and
Skills: Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE,
Code blue/rapid response Hospital Highlights Type of Facility:
Acute Care Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma (if
applicable): Level II Trauma center. Total Staffed Beds: 372
staffed beds. Scrub Color: Royal blue. Charting: Cerner Parking
